The E-Mail Scandal Is Taking a Toll on Hillary’s Health

Just a few months ago, Hillary Clinton imagined she was the anointed one. Now, she’s facing possible criminal charges, is under investigation by the F.B.I., and may be swallowed whole by her party’s far left wing, led by socialist Bernie Sanders.

And all of this is taking a toll on her health.

“Hillary is a wreck,” one of Hillary’s oldest friends, who has stood by her since their days at Wellesley College, tells ED KLEIN CONFIDENTIAL. “She’s suffering from blinding headaches and acid indigestion. She’s grinding her teeth at night and has to wear a plastic mouthpiece. Most of the time, she can’t sleep and paces the floor for hours at her homes in Washington and in Chappaqua.

“Back at Wellesley, Hillary was a star,” this friend continued. “She introduced herself to every student at the college and was elected president of her class. In her commencement speech, she attacked the first black Massachusetts senator, Edward Brooke, for being too conservative.

“She said she was going to be president of the United States and we believed her. “Now, all these years later, just as she seemed poised to fulfill the promise, but her wings are melting like Icarus.’

“The pressure of the months of investigations has taken a terrible toll. The legal fees are mounting into the millions. Her team of lawyers is constantly meeting to strategize and find out from the State Department and Justice about what’s going on.

“Bill has told her repeatedly that he wouldn’t be at all unsympathetic if she threw in the towel. But Chelsea, her other main adviser and confidant, is adamant that they double down and ride toward the sound of gunfire rather than retreat.

“Hillary is going to suck it up and go for the gold – even if it kills her.”
