Antifa’s Islamist Connection
BY EDWARD KLEIN/ December 5, 2017
What if I uncovered a major threat from a radical leftwing group to our national security, and documented it in my new book, All Out War: The Plot to Destroy Trump?
Wouldn’t you expect the mainstream media, for all their liberal bias, to check out such an important story?
Well, I did write about the threat— and the mainstream media totally ignored it.
Evidence of collusion comes directly from the FBI, which discovered that Antifa—the leftwing terrorist group that has thrown M-80 explosives at pro-Trump demonstrators and helped make college campuses virtually no-go zones for conservatives—has connections with foreign terrorists.
“There is clearly overwhelming evidence that there are growing ties between U.S. radicals and the Islamic State, as well as several [ISIS] offshoots and splinter groups and affiliates,” according to an FBI field report on the “resistance” that I printed in full in the appendix to All Out War.
“Ties between three key leaders of the Oakland [Antifa] group met in Hamburg with a leader of AQAP [Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula] and AQIM [Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb],” agents reported last summer to the director of the FBI. “The leader from AQAP is an Egyptian born male who is known to be in charge of finances and recruiting for the group.
“There is evidence from informants that he is helping the Oakland group acquire the weapons they are seeking, primarily bomb making equipment and toxic chemicals and gasses,” the FBI report continued.
“One of the men from Oakland traveled to Syria to meet with ISIS; the purpose was for training in tactics, but was thought to be primarily a bonding visit to discuss possible massive disruptive attacks to the U.S.”
This is clearly an important story with immense implications for our national security. Reporters in the mainstream media have sources inside the FBI who leak like sieves, and this story should be easy for them to check out.
So why the silence?
There can be only one explanation: liberal reporters are eager to print stories that reflect badly on President Trump, but not on the activities of groups like Antifa that are part of the “resistance.”
